If you can remember this and actually used Air Mail, you are sooooooo "mature."

Laughter is one of the best parts of life.
It's what makes the hard parts easier to endure.
Yes, yes, yes. I remember it. I loved that paper. Every time I wrote on that delicate thin semi-transparent paper I felt like I was writing something so much sweeter and lovelier in context and meaning than anything written on any kind of regular bond. And although I could write on regular paper with a stubby pencil, or a messy ballpoint, on that paper it had to be the best kind of pen, cause it definitely was the best kind of paper. So thin but so delicately coated with inspiration.
ReplyDeleteOkay....I don't remember it; but I'm STILL very mature.
ReplyDelete"Matures" ? -- awkward sounding. But, I do remember these air mail sheets, the careful thought given to whether or not or which letters were best sent by air mail -- it was more expensive.
ReplyDeleteYou find such wonderful stuff in your closet -- my closet just has junk and dust bunnies.
ReplyDeleteI do - I took one to Europe and ended up writing all my letters on the toilet paper when I ran out! I'm curious - I can't make out what the price tag says?...Enjoying your blog
